### Dr. Larry Ballonoff and His Role in Diabetes Care Dr. Larry Ballonoff, MD, is a highly experienced endocrinologist who received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins Medical School. He completed his initial training in internal medicine at Cleveland Metropolitan General Hospital and further specialized in endocrinology through a fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Since 1981, Dr. Ballonoff has been working with Kaiser Permanente in Denver, where he serves as the chief of endocrinology. He is also part of the volunteer faculty at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and is actively involved in the internal medicine teaching program at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver. Additionally, he has been a long-time member of the American Diabetes Association and currently serves as the president-elect for the Regional Board of the Mountain States Region. At Kaiser Permanente, Dr. Ballonoff works with a dedicated team of physicians, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and nurses to provide comprehensive education and care for people with diabetes.
