Is mesenchymal stem cell therapy effective for osteoporosis?
Osteoporosis is a condition that makes bones weak and prone to fractures. Mesenchymal stem cells are a promising treatment, and studies suggest they may help promote bone regeneration and repair. However, these studies are still in the early stages, and more clinical trials are needed to confirm their effectiveness and safety. Therefore, while hopeful, this treatment cannot yet be fully relied upon. The primary methods for preventing and treating osteoporosis remain proper diet, exercise, and medication.
