Print out a list of tests, procedures, and vaccines women need after the age of 40
Women over the age of 40 need regular screenings and vaccinations: breast cancer screening, cervical cancer screening (one of the following), colorectal cancer screening, heart disease screening (at 45 or younger if you are overweight with BMI > 25kg/m2 and have other risk factors like hypertension or high cholesterol), bone health check, sexual health check (if you are sexually active and at higher risk for STDs, get tests for chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis yearly, and take an HIV test at least once, more frequently if you’re at risk). Vaccinations/immunizations: other important screenings. Note: Screening guidelines may vary. This is a compilation of generally accepted major screening recommendations from national health organizations and experts, but it is by no means comprehensive or a substitute for your doctor's advice.
