Tymlos is a prescription drug used to treat osteoporosis. It comes as a liquid solution for injection under the skin, usually once per day. Tymlos is for adults at high risk of fracture (such as postmenopausal females) and for those who haven't responded to other treatments. The active ingredient is abaloparatide. Each pre-filled pen contains 30 doses of 80 mcg. Before using, let the refrigerated Tymlos pen warm to room temperature for 30 minutes, then inject at the same time each day. Each pen can be stored at room temperature for 30 days. Do not double up if you miss a dose.
